Fujian Qianhong Metal Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is located on the Shuiwei Industrial Platform in the Economic Development Zone of Shaowu City. The surrounding area is predominantly industrial land, with National Highway 316 running immediately to the north of the project and industrial land on the other three sides. The project is one kilometer from the Wushao Expressway entrance. It is a new construction project covering 50 mu of land, with a total investment of RMB 100 million and a land area of 33,336.47 square meters. The overall scale involves an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons of alloy cast steel, ball-milled castings, and gray iron castings processing lines. The main buildings include four workshops, two multi-purpose buildings, and two ancillary facilities such as a power distribution room. The first phase of the project primarily produces container corner fittings and valve products. Construction commenced in March 2018, and after one year of intensive work, the main structures—including production workshops, warehouses, ancillary buildings, the power distribution room, hardened plant roads, and supporting landscaping—have now been completed. The company’s business scope includes the production and sale of container accessories, automotive and marine parts, water pumps, bearing housings and other mechanical and electrical components, casting accessories, electric motors, and casting materials. The second phase of the project is scheduled to begin construction at the end of 2019, with main products including water pump accessories and hardware fittings.

The first-phase project is designed with an annual production capacity of 1 million sets of standard corner fittings. The products have obtained classification society certification, and the company has achieved ISO 9000 quality management system certification. A comprehensive quality management system has been established, featuring key testing equipment such as an optical emission spectrometer for verifying melt composition, a microcomputer-controlled hydraulic universal testing machine for assessing mechanical properties, a low-temperature impact testing machine, a cryogenic impact-testing chamber, a specialized hydraulic notching press for impact-test specimens, a projection microscope, a dot-marking machine, an intelligent sand-strength tester, an intelligent molding-material gas-generation tester, and various other physicochemical testing instruments. Due to the unique characteristics of container-related products, each shipment is accompanied by a complete set of documentation; throughout the production process, product-tracking records are systematically compiled and maintained in accordance with quality requirements, enabling end-to-end control over the entire manufacturing process and ensuring consistent and stable product quality. The second-phase project is designed with an annual production capacity of 10,000 tonnes of ductile iron and gray cast iron products, which are used as components in the pump industry and the hardware industry.

This project employs an energy-efficient steel-shell hydraulic electric fusion furnace for melting and adopts a coated-sand shell-molding casting process. For heat treatment, a continuous normalizing resistance furnace—developed over many years by Nanjing Guanghang Technology Co., Ltd. of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and specifically designed for the mass production of container corner fittings—is utilized. This normalizing furnace is manufactured using the “Complete Set of Energy-Saving Technology for Industrial Resistance Furnaces,” a national key technology promoted by former State Science and Technology Commission, the National Office for Energy Conservation under the State Energy Administration, the Ministry of Aerospace Industry, the Jiangsu Provincial Electric Power Bureau, and other government departments. It has been adopted by numerous corner-fitting manufacturers in the industry, demonstrating its proven efficiency in energy conservation, ease of operation, reliability and stability, high product quality, and safety and durability. The machining equipment consists of a dedicated double-sided milling machine for container corner fittings, designed and manufactured by Jiangsu Gaojing Mechanical & Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd. In addition, the project has introduced the province’s first coated-sand recovery and recycling system.

This production project is aligned with the national development priorities for the container industry and manufacturing sector. The project site and its surrounding areas boast a sizable and rapidly growing container-component and manufacturing industry, and the project’s implementation will elevate the local capabilities in these sectors while fostering the broader development of manufacturing and related industries, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of participating enterprises. In addition, the project will stimulate the growth of companies engaged in container components, transportation, construction, and other related fields, creating win-win outcomes that further strengthen corporate competitiveness. Upon full completion and reaching design capacity, the project is expected to generate annual sales of RMB 200 million, contribute RMB 15 million in profits and taxes, and create 120 new jobs.
